School Days at Round Barn
9:00am – lunch at the Round Barn.
Come any time. Activities will
include tours of the one room school, log cabin, and print shop,
demonstrations of thrashing, blacksmith working,
and sawing of logs, and more. Kids can shell corn, make ropes, and pet
the farm animals. Popcorn and soda will be served. Anyone
interested in staying for lunch is welcome to bring a sack lunch; we will eat
at the group's convenience. (Last year, we had more than enough to keep
us busy til lunchtime!!) Please let me know if I should expect your family; I

Cost is $2.50 per child which includes a small pumpkin and a gourd. The Corn Maze is a $1/per child
and is optional. There will also be many other pumpkins, etc for you to

HYVEE Math
Blast is a 7 week event for students K-6. It
starts September 28 and runs for 7 weeks. Parent with
children may go to either Hy-Vee and complete the two-question math challenge
each week. At the end of 7 weeks there are prizes including a drawing

Night Harrison location. Drop by
anytime between 3:30 and 7:00pm with your pre-K through 8th grader. You
will go to the customer service desk and receive instructions there. All who
complete the activities this night will be entered into a drawing to win a
$20 Hy-Vee Gift Card, $10 Scotties Fun Spot Gift Card, admission to Going
Bonkers, and/or putt-putt through the Park District. Email Jennie by Sep
