It’s 1895 on a mild December day in Rattler Canyon, a little town situated in the boot heel of what will become the state of New Mexico. Christmas is just around the corner, but the folks in Rattler Canyon might not be celebrating Christmas this year...or quite possibly ever again! You see, Mayor Clive Plumnut has a pension for shooting off his mouth. The only thing bigger than the mayor’s mouth is his love for gambling. Mayor Plumnut has challenged the notorious Big Bad Ben to a game of poker and the stakes couldn’t be any higher.

The town’s only hope is Diamond Dan, the fastest, bravest gun in the West. There’s only one problem — it seems that ever since his run-in with the “pure evil” Ringo sisters, Dan has lost his nerve!

This Christmas story sheds light on the miracle of Christ’s birth, wrapped up in a light-hearted story about bad guys changing their ways and a long-lost family who find one another. Just when it seems Christmas, the town, and Diamond Dan’s life are all about to go down the drain, a miracle happens — a baby enters the world, just when He’s needed most.

Be sure to put Friday, December 20th on your calendar! The QACHE theater students have been working hard on this presentation and you don't wanna miss it. This fun-filled comedy is for ALL AGES so bring the family for a night of mayhem, laughter, and the true meaning behind Christmas - the birth of Jesus.

Please note that admission is (1) non-perishable food item per person. We'll be inviting the community to our production this year and wanted to give something back. What better way than to help out those who will be struggling during this special time of year. Feel free to invite family, friends, neighbors, or co-workers. If you'd like to help us spread the word, we have 5.5" x 8.5" flyers and 11" x 17" posters. Maybe your family would like to go door-to-door and hand out flyers. Or maybe your church will allow you to put up one of your posters. Perhaps you can get permission to display a poster in your break room at work. Just let me know what materials you'd like and how many.

We're looking forward to presenting When Christmas Left Rattler Canyon at the KROC Center and we hope to see you there!
